January is full of birthdays, this time, it’s my nephew’s birthday. Here is the card I made for him.
Ink: VersaFine: Onyx Black , Tim Holtz Distress Inks: Vintage Photo, Pumice Stone, Rusty Hinge, Aged Mahogany
Cardstock: Gray, Black
Stamps: Darkroom Door Motorcycle
Embossing Folder: M-bossabilities So Trendy (Side A)
Other: Double-sided tape, Ranger Nib Holder and Nibs, Ranger Gloss Paper, Cotton buds, Cotton balls
I stamped the image using VersaFine Ink (should have used Archival Ink 😦 ) onto white gloss cardstock. Once it had dried, I coloured parts of the motorcycle using Nibs dipped into the Distress Inks. I used cotton buds to colour the steel and a cotton ball to colour the ground. I matted the image onto a piece of black cardstock and then adhered to the front of the card, which had been embossed using the So Trendy folder.
Happy birthday Jamie, I hope you had a great day 🙂
Bye for now,
