This card is a little different. I was asked by a work friend to make a thank you card…that had a book theme to it. My friend is an author, and wanted to say thank you to her publicist. After much planning and re-planning, here is the finished card.
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Inks: Vintage Photo, Peeled Paint, Mustard Seed, Chipped Sapphire, Walnut Stain
Cardstock: White, Black
Stamps: Darkroom Door Bookworm and French Script Texture Stamp
Other: Double-sided tape, Ranger Nib Holder and Nibs, Double-sided tape, Foam tape
Using the French Script texture stamp, I stamped a piece of white cardstock, stamping around the card at different angles. I then sponged over the writing in Peeled Paint and Vintage Photo, and adhered it to a black card base with double-sided tape.
I stamped the book image and coloured using Nibs dipped into the Distress Inks. I fussy cut the image and adhered it to the card with foam tape. After stamping the sentiments, I trimmed them down, sponged with Peeled Paint, and adhered to the card.
Bye for now,
