Happy New Year. One of my New Year’s resolutions is to try to make more cards this year, another is to use “scraps” from my ever increasing scrap collection, another is to try and blog them more regularly. For today at least, I am doing all three 🙂
I made this card for a work colleague’s birthday.
Cardstock: White, dark brown, beige
Ink: Archival Ink: Potting Soil
Stamps: Darkroom Door: Happy Birthday
Dies: Sue Wilson: New Zealand Collection, Wellington
Noble Collection, Double Pierced Squares and Double Pierced Squares Part B
Other: Foam tape, double sided tape
Using die #2 from the Wellington set and die #6 from the Double Pierced Squares set, I cut a piece of dark brown cardstock. I then used die #5 from the Double Pierced Squares set to cut a piece of beige cardstock, die #4 from the same set to cut another piece of dark brown cardstock and die # from the Double Pierced Squares Part B set to cut a piece of white cardstock. I used die #3 from the Wellington set to cut a piece of beige cardstock and die #4 to cut a piece of white cardstock and stamped the sentiment on this piece.
Happy birthday Rick.
Bye for now,
