Today’s card is for a card swap. This month’s theme is make a Telescope Card, it has to have four layers, and our partner’s has to be on it. This seemed a great way to use some different Gumnut Baby stamps in the same card.
Cardstock: Black, white, green
Inks: Memento: Espresso Truffle
Stamps: Paper Roses: Snugglepot and Cuddlepie Bush Babies, Snugglepot and Cuddlepie Bush Babies Accessories
Dies: Paper Roses: Snugglepot and Cuddlepie Bush Babies, Snugglepot and Cuddlepie Bush Babies Accessories, Stitched Circles
Crafter’s Companion: 1″ Alphabet Contemporary Lower Case, 1″ Alphabet Contemporary Upper Case
Paper: Kaisercraft: “Under the Gum Leaves”
Other:-Foam tape, Glue, Prisma Pencils, Blending Card, Blending Solution, Blending Stubs, Brads, Piercing Tool
With dies #1, #2, #3 and #4 from the Stitched Circles set I cut 4 black circles. Then, using dies #2, #3, #4 and #5, I cut 4 circles from the Under the Gum Leaves paper. Finally, using dies #3, #4, #5 and #6 I cut 4 white circles.
I glued each Under the Gum Leaves circle onto it corresponding larger black circle, then attached the corresponding smaller white circle.
I cut out the letters using the alphabet sets and glued them to the second largest circle.
I stamped the images on blending card in Espresso Truffle ink, coloured them with Prisma Pencils, applied blending solution and cut them out with the corresponding dies. I adhered an image to the other 3 circles.
Finally, I positioned each circle, and pierced through, then joined each circle with a brad.
I hope you like the card Carol. I know it was certainly fun to make, I can see some more telescope cards being made in my future 🙂
Bye for now,
