Flower Power

Hi there,

Time for another card swap.  This time, the theme was Flower Power (with no sentiment).  This is the first Sue Wilson stamp I have purchased, so I thought it was time to use it.

Sue Wilson: Frames and Tags Collection - Julia Julia's Magnolia Circle

I stamped the image on white cardstock in Tuxedo Black ink, cut it out with die #1 from the co-ordinating Julia’s Circle die set, and coloured with Chameleon Pencils.  Using dies #1 and #2 from the same set, I cut out two pieces from white cardstock and glued them together to form a lace doily background, then glued the image to the front.  I got this idea from Julia Watts’ website Inky Fingerzone.

Using dies from the Double Pierced Rectangles and Double Pierced Rectangles B sets, I cut white, dark green and dark pink cardstock and layered them on each other, and adhered to a trimmed card base.  I then added the topper to the card, using foam tape.

Bye for now,

Penny
