It’s my nephew’s birthday today. To make his card, I have used some of his favourite things, his favourite book character is Dog Man, and his favourite colour is green.
Cardstock: White, dark green
Dies: Sue Wilson: Frames and Tags, Sophia
Noble Collection, Double Stitched Octagon
Other: Foam tape, glue, double-sided tape, online image
I started this card by finding a Dog Man image online, saving it into a word document, then adding the birthday sentiment. Once printed, I cut the the image out with the #3 die from the Sophia set.
Using the #1 die from the Sophia set, I cut a piece of white cardstock, then using dies #1 and #2 I cut out a piece of dark green cardstock. I adhered these pieces with glue, and then adhered the image with double sided tape.
To create the card base, I folded a piece of A4 white cardstock in half. Using the #6 die from the Double Stitched Octagon set, I cut an octagon card base, positioning the top of the die above the fold. I then cut a piece of dark green cardstock using the same die, and adhered this to the card base with double sided tape.
Using the #7 and #9 dies from the Double Stitched Octagon set, I cut a frame from white cardstock, and then repeated this using the #10 and #12 dies from the same set. I adhered these to the card base with glue.
To finish the card off, I attached the image topper with foam tape.
Happy birthday Bobby, I hope you have had a wonderful day xxx.
Bye for now,
