Time for another card, and this is another swap. I’m really not sure why I entered so many different swaps due around the same time, I think perhaps I didn’t look closely enough at the due dates. This March swap had another open theme. Being March I decided to use a green theme for St Patrick’s Day. From there, the card just came together.
Cardstock: White, green
Ink: Archival Ink: Sap Green
Stamps: Flourishes: Taglines
Dies: Sue Wilson: New Zealand Collection, Background,
Noble Collection, Double Pierced Ovals
Other: Foam tape, glue, double-sided tape
Using the #1 die from the Background set, I cut a piece of white cardstock, trimmed a piece of green cardstock the same size and glued them together, and adhered this to a white card base I had trimmed to the same size.
With the #2 die from the same set, I cut a piece of green cardstock, then cut a piece of white card stock using the #2 and #3 dies (outline and insert) from the set, and glued these two pieces together. Using the #5 die from the same set, I cut another piece of green cardstock and clued this in the centre of the insert cut out. I adhered this to the card base with foam tape.
With dies from the Double Pierced Ovals set, I cut one oval from green cardstock and a smaller one from white cardstock. I stamped the sentiment on the white oval, adhered it to the green oval, then added it to the card.
Bye for now,
