Here is the second New Year’s card I made for another swap partner. I couldn’t wait to use this Heartfelt Creations set 🙂 (Apologies for the photo, for some reason my phone didn’t get any full shots in focus, not sure what was going on).
Paper: Heartfelt Creations “Italiana Riviera”
Ink: Memento Espresso Truffle, Tuxedo Black and Grape Jelly
Stamps: Heartfelt Creations Italiana Grape Clusters, JustRite Christmas Antique Labels One
Dies: Heartfelt Creations Italiana Grape Clusters and Cut Mat Create 1A, Spellbinders Ribbon Banners
Spectrum Noir: PL1, PL3, DG1, GB9
Other: Blending Paper, Foam tape, Double-sided tape, Dauber
I made the card base from white cardstock, cut a card topper from the Heartfelt Creations pad, cut out the centre of it using a die from Cut Mat Create 1A, and adhered to the card base with double-sided tape. I cut a piece of white cardstock using the same die.
I stamped the images on blending paper, coloured them with Spectrum Noir markers, cut them with the matching dies, and adhered to the white card stock with foam tape.
I stamped the sentiment in Black Tuxedo on white cardstock, and cut out with the Banner Ribbons die. Using the die as a mask, I sponged with Grape Jelly ink. I adhered to the card with foam tape.
My card was inspired by this card on the Heartfelt Creations blog.
Happy New Year Mary 🙂
Bye for now,
