My how the years fly. My God-daughter has just turned 16. It doesn’t seem THAT long ago that she was born.
Here is the card I made for her.
Cardstock: White, Lavender
Dies: Sue Wilson: Quilted Blocks, Belgian Collection Background Die;
Crafter’s Companion: Die’sire Classiques Only Words Numbers & Punctuation
Other: Foam tape, Double sided tape, Purple glitter paper
Using the lacy dies from the Belgian Collection Background set, I cut two separate pieces from white card stock, trimmed two pieces of lavender cardstock to the same size and adhered one to each piece. I then trimmed a larger piece of lavender and trimmed a larger card base in white. I adhered the lavender cardstock to the card base with double sided tape, then mounted each of the card toppers with foam tape.
I cut out the numbers from purple glitter paper using Die’sire Classiques Only Words Numbers & Punctuation dies, and adhered to the top of the card with glue.
Happy birthday Lucy.
Bye for now,
