Time for another birthday card, this time it’s for my nephew. He is a mechanic, so I decided it HAD to have a car theme 🙂
Cardstock: White, dark brown, beige
Ink: Archival Ink: Potting Soil
Stamps: Darkroom Door: Vintage Automobiles
Dies: Sue Wilson: New York Collection, Madison Square,
Noble Collection, Double Pierced Squares and Double Pierced Squares Part B
Other: Foam tape, double sided tape
Using dies from the Madison Square set and the Double Pierced Squares set, I cut a piece of dark brown cardstock. I then used a smaller die from the Double Pierced Squares set to cut a piece of beige cardstock, and smaller die from the Double Pierced Squares Part B set to cut a piece of white cardstock. Using the die as a mask, I sponged the white cardstock with Potting Soil, then stamped the two images from Vintage Automobiles. All die cuts were adhered with foam tape. Finally I cut a white card base the same size as the dark brown square, and adhered the topper to the card base with double sided tape.
Happy birthday Jamie, I hope you had a great day.
Bye for now,
