Get Well Soon

Hi there,

Here is my latest attempt at creating a stained glass effect using Sue Wilson dies.  It has worked better than my first attempt 🙂

This card was made for a work colleague who is not well.

Sue Wilson Quilted Blocks

Cardstock:  White, pink
Ink:  Archival Ink: Rose Madder
Stamps: Stampin’ Up: Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Dies: Sue Wilson: Quilted Blocks, New Zealand Collection Tag Die
Paper: Vellum paper
Other: Foam tape, double sided tape

I folded a sheet of white card stock (30 cm X 30 cm) in half.  I then trimmed some white cardstock 1 cm smaller.  I then used the Quilted Blocks die to die cut three squares and matched up the squares to extend it by an extra two squares.  I trimmed a piece of vellum to be slightly bigger than the die cut area, and adhered it behind the die cutting with foam tape.

Using the Sue Wilson New Zealand Collection Tag Die, I cut the backing frame from pink cardstock, and the corresponding circle from white cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment on the pink circle, adhered it to the pink cardstock with double sided tape, then adhered to the card with foam tape.

Bye for now,

Penny
