Strawberry Birthday

Hi there,

It was my aunt’s birthday this week.  I just had to use Heartfelt Creation’s Berry Cafe collection for her card, as she loves her garden.

Heartfelt Creations Blooming Berries

I cut out the front of the card with the Cut Mat Create die, and using the same die cut out the centre of a piece of “Berry Cafe” paper, then stamped the sentiment from Summer Glory.  All paper edges were then sponged with Cantaloupe ink.  I positioned the cut out in the centre of the card, so that it would be framed by the front cut out.  I then adhered the rest of the Berry Cafe paper on the front of the card, covering the centre.

After stamping and die cutting the flowers and strawberry cluster, I sponged the berries with Warm Red and the leaves with Cottage Ivy, and using Cantaloupe coloured the centre of the flowers using a cotton bud.  I cut the berry cluster in half, shaped the berries, leaves and flowers and adhered to the card.

Bye for now,

Penny
