I cut an A5 card base, trimmed the Kaisercraft paper to fit and adhered with double-sided tape.  I stamped the sentiment with Tuxedo Black ink, cut out with Labels Twenty-nine, and using the die as a mask, sponged with Spun Sugar Distress Ink.  I cut out two pieces using the Raindrops on Roses die.

Using the Heartfelt Creations Botanical Rose and Butterfly Medley stamps, I stamped in Espresso Truffle and cut the images out with the matching dies.  I coloured the centres of the flowers with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Marker, sponged the petals with Spun Sugar Distress Ink and the flower edges with Pickled Raspberry Distress Ink.  I sponged the leaves with Peeled Paint Distress Ink and the butterflies with Spun Sugar, Pickled Raspberry and Scattered Straw.

I spritzed the backs with water and shaped the flowers, leaves and butterflies.  After leaving to dry, I painted with Wink of Stella, once this had dried I put the card together.

I centred the sentiment on the two Raindrops on Roses dies and adhered with foam tape, I then adhered this to the card base.  I arranged the butterflies, flowers and leaves, and glues these to the topper.

Happy birthday Danuta, I hope you had a happy birthday.

Bye for now,

Penny
