Tulip Birthday

Hi there,

Time for another birthday card, this time for an old school friend.

Darkroom Door Full Bloom

Ink:  Tim Holtz Distress Inks: Black Soot, Mowed Lawn,  Spiced Marmalade
Cardstock:  White, Apricot
Stamps: Darkroom Door Full Bloom Volume 1
Dies: Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles Two
Other: Double-sided tape, Ranger Nib Holder and Nibs, Ranger, Double-sided tape

Darkroom Door Full Bloom Volume Two

I stamped the image using black Ink onto white cardstock.  Once it had dried, I coloured parts of the image using Nibs dipped into the Distress Inks.   I cut the image using the Romantic Rectangles Two die #2, and using the die as a mask, sponged the oval with Spiced Marmalade. I cut another piece of white cardstock using the Romantic Rectangles Two die #1, and again using the die as a mask, sponged the oval with Spiced Marmalade.  I then adhered the image to this mat using foam tape.  These were then adhered to the card base using foam tape.

Happy birthday Margaret.

Bye for now,

Penny
