Pawfect Time for a Doggy Swap

Hi there,

In case the title doesn’t give the theme away, the theme for this swap was dogs.  Here is my card.

Elizabeth Craft Buster the Dog

Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black
Cardstock:  White, Black, Brown and Dark Pink
Paper: (have to check the name)
Dies: Elizabeth Craft Buster the Dog, Spellbinders Opulent Ovals
Other: Pink Glitter Paper, Double sided tape, Foam tape Goggle Eyes, Computer generated sentiments

I made a card base from white cardstock and cut two pieces of paper to cover the front and inside.  Using one side, I covered the front, and using the reverse image (polka dots), I covered the inside, adhering with double-sided tape.

Elizabeth Craft Buster the DogI cut a frame using Opulent Ovals die 6 from brown cardstock, then added a white insert cut using die 4 from the same set.  I adhered the frame to the front of the card.  Using the Buster the Dog die, I cut each of the pieces (the collar and dog tag were cut out using the glitter paper) and put the dog together, and added some goggle eyes.  I adhered the dog to the frame.

Spellbinders Opulent Ovals

I wrote some dog sentiments on my computer and printed them onto white cardstock.  I cut one of the sentiments using Opulent Ovals die 3,  and using the die as a mask, sponged with Memento Black Tuxedo.  I adhered this to the front of the card.

Spellbinders Opulent Ovals

I cut the other sentiment using Opulent Ovals die 4,  and using the die as a mask, sponged with Memento Black Tuxedo.  I adhered this to the inside of the card.

I hope you like the card Tania,

Bye for now,

Penny
