This month’s swap is “Life’s a Witch…and then you Fly”. I didn’t have any witch stamps, so purchased a digi image from LaLa Land Crafts. I love their Marci and Luka stamps. Here is the finished card.
Ink: Memento Black
Cardstock: Purple, Lilac, White
Stamps: Lala Land Flying Marci (Digi image)
Dies: Spellbinders Enchanted Labels 28, Labels 28
Spectrum Noir: LV1, LV2, LV3, FS1, FS2, FS3, CR3, EB3, TN5, TN7, IG1, IG2, GB3, PP3
Other: Blending Paper, Silver Glitter Paper, Crystal Embellishments, Double-sided Tape, Crystal Effects, Glue
After printing off the digi image on blending paper, I coloured it with Spectrum Noir markers. This was my first attempt at colouring skin and hair. I originally used lighter tones for the hair (TN1, TN2 and TN3), but wasn’t happy with how it looked, so I darkened it with EB3, TN5 and TN7. I was happier with that.
I cut the image using the number 5 die from Labels 28, and mounted it on a purple mat cut with the number 6 die with double-sided tape. This was then mounted on a lilac mat cut from die number 3 from Enchanted Labels 28 with double-sided tape.
I cut a white cardbase to fit the Enchanted Labels 28 die, and covered it with a piece of silver glitter paper cut to the same size. The matted image was then glued onto the glitter paper (I wasn’t how well double-sided tape would stick to the glitter paper). I finished the card with a crystal embellishment in each corner.
Bye for now,
