Time for another card. I have used my Spectrum Noirs again, this time, I have used blending paper for the first time…what a difference it makes for blending the colours together.
Ink: Memento Espresso Truffle
Cardstock: Dark Brown, Fawn
Stamps: JustRite Frog and Lily Pad
Dies: Spellbinders Standard Squares
Embossing Folder: EZ Cut
Spectrum Noir: DR1, OR1, CT1, CT3, DG2, DG3, CG2, EB6, BT1
Other: Blending Paper, Double sided tape, Foam tape
This card was for an Autumn theme swap, which is way out of my comfort zone, but I’m happy with how it turned out 🙂 Once the image was coloured, I cut and embossed using the Standard Squares, and mounted it on the card base (onto which I had already layered the embossed piece of dark brown cardstock).
Now that I have used blending paper, I will certainly be using my Spectrum Noirs a lot more 🙂
I am entering this in the Spectrum Noir April Challenge “Anything Goes“.
Bye for now,
