Floral birthday

Hi there,

Another birthday, another card.  Today is my aunt’s birthday, and here is the card I made for her.

Floral Set Three Quilted Delight Classic ScallopInk:  Memento Rose Bud
Cardstock:  White, yellow, pale pink, medium pink, dark pink
Stamps: Flourishes Tag Lines, JustRite Large Fancy Sentiments
Dies: Elizabeth Craft Flower Set Three, Spellbinders Classic Scallop Edgeability
Embossing Folder: M-bossabilities Quilted Delight (Side B)
Other: Double-sided tape, Glue

Quilted Delight Classic Scallop

I made an A5 cardbase from white cardstock, and cut an additional piece of cardstock to A5.  I cut this piece, and then used the classic scallop die one end of each piece.  These were then adhered to the cardbase with foam tape, and stamped the sentiment from Tag Lines between them.

Floral Set Three Using Flower Set 3 dies, I cut out the pieces for the folder.  Elizabeth Craft dies come attached by a small piece of metal.  You can easily separate them if you want, but I choose not to, to reduce the chances of losing the smaller pieces.  This means when I use them, I cut “extra” pieces.  As I used 4 different colours in this flower, I have die cuts to make 3 additional flowers 🙂  The flower was put together with glue, and then glued onto the cardbase.

Large Fancy SentimentsThe sentiment inside the card is from Large Fancy Sentiments.

I am entering this in the In The Pink Challenge #39 Mother’s Day or for a Special Lady.

Happy birthday Aunty Anne 🙂

Bye for now,

Penny
