Spring class

Hi there,

For this month’s class,  I used punches to adorn the cards.  Here is the first card.

Card1 1

Ink:  Memento London Fog
Cardstock:  White, Pink, Lilac, Blue, Green, Yellow
Stamps: Flourishes Taglines
Other: Martha Stewart Punch Doily Lace Trim, SU 1″ and  1 1/4″ inch Circle Punches, Double sided tape, Foam tape, Glue

Using the Doily Lace Trim punch, I cut out four lace strips.  Then, with the 1″ Circle punch, I punched circles from the different coloured cardstock.  These were then adhered under each of lacy circles.  The 1″ circle fits perfectly behind the lace.

Once all four strips had the circles adhered on them, I layered the strips onto a pice of white cardstock with double-sided tape, aligning them up so that none of the cardstock could be seen.  This was then adhered to the card base with double-sided tape.

Card1 4

I cut out a 1″ circle from white cardstock, and stamped the sentiment on it.  I mounted this onto a 1 1/4″ circle with foam tape, and then mounted this onto the card.

This card was inspired by this circles and lace card.

I’ll post the other cards shortly.

Bye for now,

Penny
