Sturt’s Desert Roses

Hi all,

Here are the samples I took into class, demonstrating some other ways to use the Sturt’s Desert Rose stamp and watercolouring.

Bloomin' Aussie Florals

Inks:  Onyx Black Versafine, Memento Angel Pink
Cardstock:  White, Dark green, Dark pink
Stamps: Flourishes Bloomin’ Aussie Florals, Stampin’ Up Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Spellbinders: Standard Circles LG, Standard Circles SM, Fancy Framed Tags Two
Embossing folder: M-Bossabilities Lovely Lattice (Side A)
Other: Watercolour paper, Double sided tape, Dimensionals, Lyra Crayons, Aquabrush, Dauber

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Bloomin' Aussie FloralsInks:  Onyx Black Versafine, Memento Summer Sky
Cardstock:  White, Light blue
Stamps: Flourishes Bloomin’ Aussie Florals and Kids Play
Spellbinders: Standard Circles LG, Standard Circles SM, Timeless Rectangles
Other: Watercolour paper, Double sided tape, Lyra Crayons, Aquabrush, Dauber, Royal Blue Liquid Pearls

With both of these cards, I used watercolour paper to stamp and colour the image.  This was the first time I had used watercolour paper.  It certainly makes a difference 🙂

Bye for now.
